There was only a glimpse of sun other the seas
Mother nature's desert of the ocean
And no soul to satisfy their pleas
No mermaid and no function
Would tear that away
No place for the sailors to stay


The dreams wouldn't fade
and the stars gave their way to shade
I try to see the sun
But the day hasn't begun
 
For now I'll just keep lying on the dunes
Rocking at the sound of my tunes
Wishing i had never met your eyes
cause I might be drowning in your lies.

Slow down, don't need to run

Why would I make it so complicated?
my heart is in ruins and my mind got lost in the way
I guess I'll be gone for a while
and hopely I'll find a place to stay

But my head got locked in the heart of stars
